Invincible boredom

Riding on my bike,
alone, on a holiday,
in those vehicles and honking horns
when I stop at the signal
with red green lights
I think of my invincible boredom.

Walking in a park,
alone, on a Friday night
with those cheerful voices all around.
When I stare at a lovely fountain
from my favourite corner bench.
I think of my invincible boredom.

Wandering in a mall
alone, on a Saturday,
opening and closing those glass doors.
When I stop at a gift shop
to see those colourful wrappers
I think of my invincible boredom.

Sitting in a multiplex
alone, on a Sunday,
looking at posters and people.
when I stare at the chair, beside me,
just for no reason.
I think of my invincible boredom.

Surfing on the internet
in an internet cafe, everyday
playing nonsense games and passing time.
When I peep through the glass,
to see what the next person is doing,
I think of my invincible boredom.
